MANCHESTER UK-This Saturday and Sunday, The Aviation Society (TAS) will host “Aviation Weekend” at Manchester Airport’s Runway Visitor Park. The fair will feature a host of activities including an aviation trade show in the Concorde Hangar, aircraft cockpit displays, Concorde tours, commentary, open top bus photo spots, as well as airport vehicle displays and flight simulators. An RAF Display and BAE Systems Display will also be part of the festivities. Manchester Airport and TAS have a “Mega Raffle” with giveaways and prizes which include 10 airside photo tours (includes runway visit), Concorde Tour, TAS Shop Gifts and Vouchers, a pass to Airport VIP Lounges, Air Traffic Control Tower Tour (ATC), and free airport parking and flights. Raffle proceeds will benefit the CLIC Sargent Charity which helps youth with cancer. Admission to “Aviation Weekend” is free, however normal Runway Visitor Park Car Park charges will apply. You won’t want to miss out on this fun event!
